A Valentine’s Idea and Special Linens

A Valentines Idea and Special Linens | by AJ Durtschi

Valentine’s is right around the corner and for a few in Austin who can afford it is the world’s most expensive trip that will likely have your travel agent laughing all the way to the bank.

The cost: $13,875,000.

That’s not a typo.

Experiential travel boutique DreamMaker has designed a trip around the world aboard a privately outfitted Boeing 767 for its ultra-high net worth clientele.

The Passport to 50, which OddityCentral has dubbed the world’s most expensive trip around the world, is styled as a milestone celebration for the billionaire client and up to 50 friends and family in tandem on a second Boeing Business Jet.

It is scheduled to depart in August 2017, and the Passport to 50 will visit 50 cities in 20 days and cover over 30,000 miles in the air! Surprisingly, the trip includes a ratio of 88 percent on the ground and 12 percent in the air, allowing for plenty of exploration.

Some of the highlights include:

  • A $500,000 charity poker tournament with the world’s top-ranked poker player
  • An inflight yoga session
  • A fashion show
  • A Master Sommelier

Passport 50 will also boast a one-to-one ratio of guest to staff, with a cast of 50 handpicked professionals, each an expert in their respective field.

Partner World of Diamonds Group was commissioned to create the trip’s most luxurious amenity: a set of 18-karat gold swizzle sticks set with white and blue diamonds worth a total of $1,000,000.

London’s Hotel 41 will be the first in the world to rebrand to Hotel 50 completely. It will chip out is marble tile in the foyer, commission newly monogrammed bed and bath linens, and raise a Hotel 50 flag. Other ground highlights include 50 monks’ blessings amidst an inundation of 50,000 lotus petals.

To offset all the excess, the Passport to 50 experience directly benefits children around the world through Experiential Giving. This includes the distribution of 2,500 bicycles to rural children in Cambodia, the provision of clean drinking water for 50,000 at-risk children in the Phillippines, as well as building fun centers for 50,000 children battling life-threatening illnesses.

So if you are looking for that special Valentine’s gift, this is it. Don’t forget it comes with special monogrammed bed and bath linens.

If it’s not for you and you just want to consider the linens part of the experience for your business we can help you.

Everybody wants change — including your linens. Let us help.
